Faith Changes Everything

God loves us more than we think. The result is freedom, purpose and surprising adventure.

Bluewater Mission is a very diverse, come-as-you-are community that has found the difference God makes. We seek truth without trappings, we worship with creative breadth, we hang out in home groups, we experience supernatural ministries, we build justice businesses for the socio-economically challenged, we serve internationally, and we pursue our life callings.

On Sunday, we gather together at Palama Settlement in the heart of Honolulu (see map). Please join us for service at 9am. The teachings are informal, practical and challenging by design. The Holy Spirit shows up to make it real. The coffee is hot and the people are interesting.

Last June, Andrew Doan MD, PhD blessed our community when he shared how the Lord delivered him from losing his family, career and his life. For those of you who missed Andrew, he's back on island and will give another seminar. The seminar will be in the Children's area 15 minutes after service ends.

Please check out Sunday's bake sale on the lanai, and shop generously!  The sale is being run by the 14 Bluewater members - IV students, IV staff, and "regular folks" who are attending the Urbana student missions conference December 27-31 in St. Louis, MO.  The group has been working hard to raise the money to go; please help them raise the final amount.  Mahalo!

The 6th Annual Bluewater Christmas Concert is coming up on Saturday, December 12th at 6:30pm at Paliku Theatre on the campus of the Windward Community College. Invite your friends and coworkers as the concert is an eclectic mix of spoken word, art, dance, drama, and song - what a way to celebrate the birth of Jesus! If you're interested in participating or helping, please see John Roberts <>.
